Golf Holidays Spain | Golf Holidays Costa del Sol | Golf Breaks Costa del Sol

The 'Costa del Golf' is a firm favourite of the travelling golfer, whether you're an expert or beginner, you will find the ideal place golf hotels and golf courses to play. The mild climate, infrequency of rainfall and the sea breeze, make the Costa del Sol, one of Europe's premier golf destinations.

The Costa del Sol takes up about 161km of the Mediterranean that corresponds to the province of Malaga. Protected from the northern winds by a mountain chain that in some parts comes down to meet the sea, this sheltered coast is shaped by a succession of extensive beaches, coves and marinas.

From Malaga International airport all the way to Gibraltar, there is something to suit every taste and budget - The ‘Costa del Golf’ has got it all!

Benalmadena Marina

Positioned in a privileged location, looking out onto the Mediterranean Sea, it is little wonder that Benalmadena has grown so rapidly in size over the last 20 years. Benalmadena's stunning marina offers a great choice of shops, bars and restaurants, which are always lively, but the busiest time of year is during the hot summer months. Situated just 19km from Malaga International airport.

Possibly the most lively of the Costa del Sol's resorts, with it many night-clubs and bars, so if its a good night out you're after, then this is the base for you. Fuengirola also offers magnificent beaches, golf courses, leisure parks and a significant calendar of cultural events. It's many restaurants and pavement cafés provide the opportunity to sample the local cuisine, whose star product is fish.

A major tourist centre offering a wide range of restaurants, cafes, bars and a dozen magnificent courses. Golfers staying in Marbella, don't have far to travel, to enjoy their favourite sport, with the beautiful mountains and sea as a back-drop. The historic part of town, sits on a beautiful bay, with whitewashed houses and orange trees adorning the streets and squares. An ideal setting for sampling the tasty local cuisine.

Puerto Banús
The charming cosmopolitan harbour of Puerto Banús, is a glamorous resort where you’ll find a fine selection of internationally renowned restaurants and enchanting boutiques. Yachts, speed boats and expensive cars dot the sophisticated port, which is one of the main focal points for tourists. However, visitors tend to find that eating and drinking in Puerto Banús is much more expensive than the likes of its neighbouring town of Marbella.

Estepona Promenade

Sheltering under the Bermeja mountains, Estepona is a major tourist centre on the western coast of Málaga. This area offers magnificent beaches, as well as a busy marina. The major festivals, el Carmen and a peculiar Holy Week are some of the celebrations which the residents live most intensely. Nor can we forget its gastronomy, which is composed of traditional recipes based on fish and seafood.

Puerto de la Duquesa
Costa del Sol's best kept secret is situated 20 minutes west of Puerto Banús & 40 minutes from Malaga. The attractive promenades encircling the port offer a variety of restaurants, bars & cafes in which to while away your evenings, or non-golfing days. The choice of eating & drinking options include Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, Indian and Thai. Two nights a week the port hosts a Crafts Market, popular with locals and visitors.
