Old Course Hotel St Andrews

The world famous 5-star Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa is stunningly situated overlooking the infamous 17th Road Hole of the Old Course, and is only a short stroll from the medieval town centre of St Andrews with its many shops, bars, restaurants, cafes and places of interest. 

Eden View Rooms
These rooms offer spectacular views across the Eden Parklands. Each room features first-class traditional furnishings and décor and the bathrooms feature a large, deep bath with a centrally positioned oversized showerhead.

As the name suggests, these rooms offer spectacular views across the world-famous Old Course and feature first-class traditional furnishings and décor. The bathrooms feature a large, deep bath with a centrally positioned oversized showerhead.

Old Course Suites
Full-length windows give a panoramic view of the Old Course and out to the sea. These suites offer a high standard of comfort and design with sumptuous décor including a distinctive cushioned wall covering. All are furnished with Baker furniture and fine accessories.

Fairway Suites
Overlooking the Old Course, the Fairway Suites feature contemporary décor with both a lounge and dining area, king-size bed and a large bathroom with separate power-shower unit.

Deluxe Suites
Perched above the famous 17th tee of the Old Course, these suites offer spectacular views across the links courses to the sea. Choose from either the elegant Jacques Garcia-designed rooms or the contemporary Amanda Rosa designed rooms.

Dining at The Old Course Hotel
The Road Hole Grill (3 AA Rosettes) is located on the fourth floor offering glorious panoramic views of the St Andrews coastline, links courses and sea. The Road Hole Grill is an elegant, traditional grill room offering an intimate and attentive fine-dining experience and the very best Scottish and organic produce, complemented by an extensive wine list. Seats 100. Dress code: Smart, casual.

The Road Hole Bar overlooks the 17th fairway of the Old Course, the Road Hole Bar is adjacent to the Road Hole Grill and offers a rare selection of more than 200 malts representing every Scottish distillery, mothballed or otherwise. It features large leather sofas, magnificent chandeliers, panelled walls and a grand piano. Dress code: Smart, casual.

Sands Bar & Restaurant offers dishes from the deep cold of the North Atlantic to the radiant warmth of the Mediterranean, with New World wines and beers featured alongside mini-champagne and classic cocktails.   Ground floor location, seats 80 with private dining for up to 30. Dress code: casual.

The Jigger Inn was originally built as the station master’s lodge circa 1850, The Jigger is a casual, authentic pub right next to the Old Course. Perfect for guests interested in sampling the range of Celtic draught and bottled beers along with some simple home-style cooking. Dress code: casual.

The Duke's Bar & Grill offers a menu of creative and tempting Scottish cuisine.  The restaurant has a warm, welcoming ambience, mellow wood-paneled walls and a cosy atmosphere and the view from the vast windows over the golf course, the town and the sea beyond is simply spectacular. Dress code: casual.

Private Dining/Meeting Rooms
Tom Morris, Willie Park and Tom Kidd are versatile private function rooms, designed to offer the utmost in flexibility for your guests. State of the art plasma screen TVs, DVD players and sound systems are included as standard within the Conference Wing rooms. All suites have private bathrooms and fully stocked fridges.

Sands Restaurant is a contemporary private restaurant and bar. With dishes from the deep cold of the North Atlantic to the radiant warmth of the Mediterranean, the menu is intriguingly tempting. New World wines and beers feature alongside mini-champagne, classic cocktails and a martini bar.

The Boardroom on the top floor of the hotel offers panoramic views over the sea and the town of St Andrews. This meeting room is classic formal in style and seats up to 16 people for meetings, lunch or dinner. The Boardroom’s balcony is a wonderful place to enjoy a pre-dinner drink and gaze out over the famous links.
